{"id":102,"date":"2017-12-10T19:13:10","date_gmt":"2017-12-10T19:13:10","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/swordsofsaintmichael.org\/wp\/?page_id=102"},"modified":"2026-10-19T17:49:05","modified_gmt":"2026-10-19T17:49:05","slug":"sleep-paralysis","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/swordsofsaintmichael.org\/wp\/sleep-paralysis\/","title":{"rendered":"Sleep Paralysis"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"has-primary-color has-text-color\"><strong>Out of 1000\u2019s of cases we have encountered, not one was a case of medical sleep paralysis.<em><br><\/em><br>What is \u201cSleep Paralysis\u201d?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio has-primary-color has-text-color\"><strong>One or more of these symptoms:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio has-primary-color has-text-color\"><strong>-Feeling of an (Evil) presence in room.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio has-primary-color has-text-color\"><strong>-Feeling a pressure on your chest, like someone is sitting on your chest.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio has-primary-color has-text-color\"><strong>-Encounters reveal a shadowy figure, a hooded specter, \u201cOld hag\u201d, or some other inhuman presence.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio has-primary-color has-text-color\"><strong>-Occurs more so at a notable occurrence time between 2-4AM<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio has-primary-color has-text-color\"><strong>-Paralysis, with only eye moment.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio has-primary-color has-text-color\"><strong>-Being held down, where you feel something is more holding you down in bed.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio has-primary-color has-text-color\"><strong>-It occurs after a \u201cNightmare\u201d dream<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio has-primary-color has-text-color\"><strong><em>When is it medical?<\/em><br>This is short list examples that made add up to more indicate it is medical (rare):<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>When there are no indications of \u201csupernatural\u201d.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>When it occurs more than once and at anytime, such as during a daytime nap.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>When all in the above list does not apply.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>When accompanied by a stroke.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio has-primary-color has-text-color\"><strong><em>Why would it begin suddenly?<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio has-primary-color has-text-color\"><strong>&#8211;<strong>An increase in household stress and anxiety levels further empowers something already there that you may have not recognized as being present prior to this.<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio has-primary-color has-text-color\"><strong>-A curse, which can come from being in proximity to a person, place, or thing that has a demonic attachment. Or a person imposed it upon you directly. A curse can also come from these things, just to name just a few: ghost hunting, attending a s\u00e9ance, fortune teller, palm reader, or attending a \u201cCharismatic renewal event\u201d which seems to draw a mix of negative experiences enough to mention.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio has-primary-color has-text-color\"><strong>-An increase in religious life. Sometimes, making the right positive changes draws attacks as to detour you from these positive changes.
